I was driving out of a car park earlier today when a random bloke came up to my window and said 'nice car pal' and I'd never seen the guy before
What i like is that you wouldnt get that with and modern car
I'm only 18 but i would HATE to drive a ****roen saxo, corsa or any other equivalent piece of ****e
Just shows that speed isnt everything really, and that even a 20 year old land rover turns heads, in my opinion, you may not want to own a land rover, but you have to respect them

Yes, I think some people are suprised/glad to see them about. I have had similar on occasion too

My first year was £2000 (17), belive it or not I've just had my renewal form and its £1458, quite reasonable really

Couldnt agree more mate, and its nice when you get a friendly wave of a fellow defender owner not so much disco, freelander or range rover sadly

I picked my landy up from trowell services and Id not driven it 5 yards and a guy came up to the window for a chat...

Cant wair to get mine back on the road now!!

Thats not the middle of nowhere it's right on the outer edge of nowhere been there a few times when i used to compete in rally cross
