ordered the allcomms kit a few days ago , anyone else got allcomms ? just wondering how long it takes for delivery :)

For a P38? You might be disappointed as last time I looked it only covered the EAS and one other ECU. Covers lots of the L322 for some years. Usually 5 days from the states in my experience unless customs grab it.

its for my L322 , not sure when the software for the p38 is ready hopefully soon

I reckon you will have a long wait for P38 stuff on allcoms. Storey has his work cut out covering the L322 and varients.
i think your right , it was a great achievement to get the l322 online
not sure but is it just a case of writing the software for the p38 ?
still not got the hardware yet ordered it sunday the tracking no says it left the sort facility in denver 12th july doesnt seem to have hit the uk yet not unless customs are holding it

The allcomms unit appears to be a simple interface unit. According to my information it doesn't have the OBD connections necessary to operate all the P38 systems, so maybe more than software is required.

Not so sure about that as it supposed to have the capability of being upgraded to operate all the P38 systems by means of software updates only.
I do know it has a fixed display size, something like 1024 x 768 as it will not dislplay correctly on my CF28 toughbook(800 x 600) I use for vehicle diags.

Display size is surely a function of the software in the PC, not the interface. My info regarding the connections comes from someone who has taken one apart, could be right, could be wrong I haven't seen the guts of the unit myself.

No the display size in this case is a function of the Allcomms.I have contacted Storey regarding this and he says it will be too much work to change the programming,so he is unlikely to ever do it.I wish it was a function of the PC,I spent hours trying to get it to fit the screen and be usable, before contacting Storey.Have had it looked at by someone who is far more computer literate than me and he agrees it cant be done by changing the PC settings.
My BBS msv works fine on the 800x600 screen.:D
