Hi all, im Andy! Currently have a cooper S thats had alot spent on it and abit of a track car and my daily! Been in to land rovers since a younger age as my old man has had a few and works at the solihull plant!

Looking into getting a 90 for some green laning fun and it would be a daily driver to so any advice on what to look for would be great as im a saab techy and not really up on landys!

:welcome2: to LZ, expect to see rust, oil leak's, water ingress, rust & ... oh yeah, more rust. But they are bloody awesome anyway;)
 
Haha ok, im used to tinkering as im always playing with cars but didnt want bills for transfer box's, diffs and gearbox's as soon as i buy one

4-5k and iv seen 90s vary from 1985-1995 and 40k to 200k?!

If i sell the mini i should have 4-5k to play with, would that fetch me a solid 300tdi?

Have a look-see through the Defender section for vehicle viewing tips, chances are it'll need some welding doing to it. The 300TDi engine's are very reliable if regularly serviced. Your biggest issue will be chassis/bodywork.
 
Oh.

Mileage means nowt generally on a 90..look for a good chassis and bulkhead, then you'll be started on the road to certain mental illness and poverty.
