Can anyone tell me if wingtop airscoops benefit the heater airflow etc

i got two raised ones with the mesh at the front i think i will get them out the garage tomoro and take a piccy for ya if ya pay for postage you can have them

I've got them on mine, but only because they were fitted when i bought it and the original grill is missing.

I don't like them and they don't make the heater any hotter but you get noticabley greater airflow through the vents above 45mph, they do make a difference on really cold days too

Took mine off after it got cracked by a branch - never really made much difference to my 90 - looked ugly as well IMHO

Got one on mine but not bothered with the side with the blanking plate for looks. It is minimal but I like the look of them personally.

there not designed to make the heater hotter just to put greater airflow into the heater box

good for what? stopping snow getting in yes,greater airflow no

I fitted some on the top of mine... stops all the rain water, or snow going in and melting, potentially then overflowing into the heater fan and blowing it up.. (as I found out)

also stops flying mud falling in..

that's the only reason why I have fitted it to mine
