hello all. would the battery being disconnected cause this fault to appear?just had a new alternator fitted and when i went to start it up it was reading lots of faults which seem to have all reset, except this one.:(

no reset like the windows you need to take it to someone with testbook diagnostics and have the codes read

yes,the open book symbol.all the blowers etc seem to be working ok.

Most likely a blend motor has gone or the HEVAC ECU has got confused. You could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
The only real answer is to get the fault codes read :)

thanks for the advice datatech, maybe try that although it is just a niggle that i can live with, unlike the annoying squeaking coming from the suspension(i think?).had new poly bushes fitted but made no difference at all.

You won't know until the HEVAC is put on diagnostics and the fault(s) read.

I know I am a miserable old git but I do wish that people would take the time to put their location on their profile rather than members having to ask for it.
We are not looking for your address but someone local may be able to help.
Not too much to ask for, just the general area is better than nothing.
I have noticed that more and more members are guilty of this.

Fair play to the Mod's, they have put a sticky regarding "For Sale" ads. What about location, Sirus & Co. ?????
