Hi All - My Def is about to come back to UK after a long long long stay South Europe -
In order not to be stopped by local police everywhere I had to change the settings of its headlights to meet Italian laws.
The vehicle is due back to the UK in 2 weeks, and due for the MOT, however I want to tell my local specialist to re-set the(custom) headlights for UK driving - does any of you know where i can find some form of diagram on the web that I can use to haev the lights set correctly? ANy help appreciated!

why not just fit uk spec headlights there only cheap off ebay

What he said ^^^^^^^. Either that or fit some straight ahead headlights like MOD vehicles have. They can then be set by aiming them left or right.

I would think on defender headlights there would not be too much difference between sides. Bearing in mind just about every thing else on the vehicle can be swapped side to side.
You can't really do it properly without the aid of a beam setter. they don't take long to set up you will just have to screw or unscrew so the beam goes back over to the correct side of the road. I saw this image that thought may be of some help.
