I'm havin trouble getting insurance because I drove my sons car last year thinkin I was insured to drive other cars on one of my policies but the cover had been deleted when I renewed.
Got stopped for a spot check and fined 200 quid and six points.

So now I have a no insurance endorsement which puts the insurance peoples off.

catch 22 or what :rolleyes::rolleyes:

My 1993 Defender is insured with Lancaster no problem ... I've never heard anything about being too new! :rolleyes:

my '92 disco is insured with them, also the MIL's '94 mini is anorl. give them a call, much easier talking to a human.

I'm with Lancaster and mines a 96 so as said above you should be fine.
Give them a ring instead of doing it online and you'll be able to haggle and get the price down a bit as well;)
