hey guys, im getting a whirring noise from the arse end, ive jacked her up and checked both wheels for play, but there is none. i did notice while underneath and small amount of oil on the rear diff, could this be the prob?, on spinning the wheels there was a small rubbing type of sound, lokking forward to your replies.
by the way, she is a 1994 3.9 v8 disco

Did you check the fluid level in the diff but sound like the barings are on there way out

Also check ya stub axle seals arnt leaking fluid aswell.
