i fitted a heavy winch and winch bumper (12500 lbs winch)
It sagged a little but not to much but after a few months the handeling was getting worse and the front was sagging more also approach angle was reduced, so a set of HD springs brought it back to where it should be, Still waiting for them to settle down as it is a tad higher than the back

I wouldn't want HD springs on the rear of an unladen 90 PU.

So what springs and shocks do you recomend for the front if I get this?

what do you base that experienced decision on?
on my 90 when i lifted it the spring supplier wanted to know if i had a winch/and bumper fitted so they could send the correct rated springs
Personally i use britpart springs and Armstrong dampers.
I know people say there crap but at the price of them i dont really mind changing them ever 3 or 4 years. I do a lot of off roading so my suspension take a hammering. I had a heavy landing last week and burst the front damper but at less than £15 each it is no big hassle. To be Honest think i would have burst any make of damper.
I fitted HD springs to the rear of my 90 the other week the ride isn't to harsh or bouncy/stiff. I used two nearside HD springs and it has raised the rear by about an inch.

Only my own personal experience. When I fitted my winch and winch bumper it made little difference to the height and handling of my Defender 110. That good enough for ya?
My own practical experience is good enough for me.

i think you will find a 110 has a different suspension setup to a 90,as its bigger/heavier and designed to carry heavier loads than a 90 and as the op was asking about a 90:doh:...that good enough for ya

Ahhh, I didn't see where he mentioned it was a 90, still can't to be honest:doh:, but there ya go. I'd guess if I was gonna lift the front of my 110 I'd maybe need HD springs as the extra length would probably be an important factor, again, I missed where he mentioned lifting it..

Land rover give different part numbers for near side and off side. The off side are slightly stiffer as the expect it to have a driver most of the time.
I fitted the correct part numbers (near and off side) to my 110csw when i had it it ended up sagging worse. so i replaced the near side with an off side spring and it leveled up lovely
