Hi
I was just out investigating an oil leak on my 300tdi which I believe to be coming from the inlet manifold gasket

However, this switch/connector I am asking about could be the culprit also, but I can't work out what it is?
I've looked at the parts catalogue but it wasn't listed.

I've attached a photo I found using google images.

It is the thing in the top left on the cylinder head

no idea what it might be?

like i said it is not my pic.
but checked the website it came from and it is a turbo boost gauge on the egr blanking plate and exhaust gas temperature sensor on the manifold

I think yu will find it is a turbo boost gauge on the manifold and exhaust gas temperature sensor on the egr blanking plate

The pic he has posted seems to show an electric boost gauge set up and a thermocouple for the exhaust gas temps.
Iirc the 300tdi auto had a boost/temp sensor in the inlet manifold but was in the back of the manifold.
