So.. the 3.9efi is now sitting in the series. I've wired it up according to some other threads on here but I've two questions.

1. I have a long piece coming out of the loom with 4 wires two of which have a 2 pin waterproof connector (pic). The colours are thick black, black with grey band, grey, white with pink band. The last two connected to the plug. Whats this for? Can't find it on any diagram

2. The Dizzy has two connectors on it (pic) which must go to the coil? Which is white/black and which is white?

Finally, I should have a white/black wire in the loom with some kind of resistor which goes to the coil. I've found this but where is the terminal for the coil. Does it come out near the air stepper motor? I've a single white/black spade terminal there.

ata guess that plug is for the purge canister.
have you fitted a manual tune resister?
have you changed the tune resister for a non cat model if it had catts fitted?
will look at my bible tomorrow and mail back

The single spade connector at the end of the loom after the MAF connector goes to the coil.

I'll answer the other questions when I get home

There were no cats or Lambda sensors in the pipes I got with the engine. I have left the tune resister as is for the present.

I found a wiring diagram with some of those colour wires for the plug going to an ABS pickup point. Does than make sense?

I really do need to know which terminal is which on the Dizzy as well. I found a reference on the Cobra forum which reckons that if you look at the connectors they form a 'T' the top is the negative and and the leg is the positive - sound right? I don't want to do a trial and error thingy just in case I blow something
