Hi RR P38 2002
I replaced the brake accumulator a few month ago and now I'm starting to hear the brake pump again more often. Did I get a defective accumulator? Could it be that the oring did not set well? I have no problem with the brakes so I don't think it is a leak problem.

Any help or comments will be apreciated.

Hi, you could try a spray with washing up fairy in it, spray over the pipe work to find leaks there should be bubbles showing up where the leaks are.

???? I was thinking on the end of the accumulator. If there a leak there, I should see break fluid right? And I don't see any break fluid under the bonnet.

If there's a leak you will see brake fluid. You certainly won't do any good spraying the brake lines with washing up liquid as the previous poster said.

Have you tried bleeding the brakes since fitting it,a lot of people havent needed to but a few have had to ?
When i did mine i had a bit of air in the system (pump made a ticking type noise) which went after bleeding from the master bleeder on the modulator..
