It's not as simple as that as the Becm does not store fault codes other than those related to to the RF receiver memory (Keyfob)..whether it has received a valid fob code or not or the or the door outstation codes.
If the Fob code memory is corrupt, the memory an be cleared.

should have known it wouldnt be straight forward the alarm sets and unsets on the fob and by key the malfunction is the central locking on both front doors - interestingly I have spare motors that run out of the doors but when fitted either lock or unlock but not both checked loom and all seems ok dont know what to do next - more beer I think
At last some light at the end of the tunnel; chased garage yet again today for replacement BECM. They claim cannot get answer from supplier, but when they have spoken, asked to call back, "tied-up right now".
Supplier claimed they could code BECM to my car, despatch via courier to "plug & play". I sort of knew this is borrox but spoke with Irish to confirm...........yep total borrox, unless ya want 2 1/2 ton of motor sat doin fek-all in half it's elektrikery!
Further chats to Irish and Garage eventually led to a positive conclusion.........Irish thankfully is still here in blighty, and has picked up a BECM whilst here!
It's now"mine", being fitted, coded and checked by Irish next Tuesday

The alarm fault message is only associated with the ultra sonics system. So it's not indicating a lock, or a remote fob problem. It is the becm saying, that it is not happy with the signal coming back from the sensor. It could be a becm, but more likely to be the ultrasonics sensor or the wiring to the sensor. First step is remove the sensor from the b/c post, remove the cover and locate the 3 connector pins on the pcb. one pin is gnd, one is 12V (but only for about 1 min after ignition is switched off), don't need to try and superlock doors for this check. The third pin is the output signal to becm. Normally this signal is high and the sensor will indicate movement to the becm by pulling the signal low.
Thanks David. See post 12 - interior sensor has been checked as have door/bonnet/tailgate. Given front door locks burnt a second time also previous issues with alarm (only masked by pulling blue rf wire) concensus has been to new BeCM
