My speedo stopped working today, so I brought the clocks forward to make sure the cable hadn't popped out (and although a little loose) it hadn't. I then took the centre seat out and undid the cable from the transfer box and gave it a turn. I first thought the cable had snapped but unfortunately it registered on the speedo, so right now im a little stuck, anyone got any ideas?? ive got an lt77 gearbox btw

Put it all back together, you may have accidentally fixed it!

with cable off jack up rear wheel turn drum and see if end of speedo gear is turning or isnt broken they can split

Yeah I mulled it over a little this eavening and thats what I was thinking too, found a handy link to boot.

I had a little time to take the drive gear out of the gearbox the otherday and it turned out that the square recepticle in the end of the gear shaft had broken. Two questions, 1) WHat coulour is this.. yellow.. green.. brown?? 2) Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a new one?
