Hi all, ive just baught a full EGR removal kit off ebay. ill be fitting it as son as it arrives, how much extra power will i gain from removing it?

not a lot ,stops inlet side becoming clogged

Hi just done my EGR fitted the kit with the by-pass as well cannot believe the difference in performance. The engine feels much more free revving and delivers more power. When i took off the old EGR it was completely gunked up, had to clean out the manifold as well.

Nice easy DIY job though, well worth the £30 ish for the kit, would recommend to anyone to get it done.

You won't get any more power at all - but you get back the power that has been lost over the years with this piece of crâp system.

Well I got my kit today and fitted it, had to warm the bolts up where it bolts to exhaust manifold but apart from that it went ok. What a difference its made, a lot more responsive and free revving. Well pleased with it
