Hi guys
Changed the passenger side headlamp unit on the weekend after it developed a hole and filled with water! Checked all the lights once finished only to find a message on the dash pointing to a left hand indicator bulb failure. Changed the bulb today but no joy . All other indicators work OK. Any ideas?

Had similar at the weekend; changed standard Candles (H4) to Xenon bulbs, to be greeted with N/S/F sidelight bulb failure..........quick check and wiggle of connector plug sorted it - may be something very similar?

Snap! do you get the faster flash speed to? even though there is no bulb failure...

Indicators flashing faster than normal on pretty much any vehicle is indicative of bulb/connection failure somewhere on that particular side, check bulbs first as they are usually weakest point in the circuit, then connections/continuity.

Yes - I've taken the day off work tomorrow to try to sort it out before the snow hits! It's typical - last year when we had snow the RR was in the garage having some work done. I'm damned if I'm going to miss the fun this year because of a failed bulb/connection!

OK - took the light guard and the indicator housing off the RR to try to find out what's going on. Took the bulb holder out and removed the bulb. Turns out that the buld holder has two possible orientations for the bulb (due to the offset of the bulb lugs) but only one of these actually has the electrical connection! :doh:

Put the bulb back in "the other way" and all works! A simple fix, but not an obvious one - particularly if you were changing a bulb at the side of the road in the dark at -7 degrees, so worth knowing.
