Can anyone please tell me the location of the fuse and/or relay that controls the front foglamps on a 300tdi. Mine do not work although power is getting to the dashboard switch.

If a standard LR fitment like a ES model then the relay is behind the glove box, don't know which one but that is where my relay clicking comes from. I haven't a clue where the fuse is it may share a fuse but if you have power to the switch thats ok. The fogs will only switch on with the lights and ignition on.

Just looked in my disco parts book and it's a yellow relay located on the hinged drop down part of the relay carrier next to a green relay which is for the rear fogs.

If yours are anything like mine my fogs had actually rotten the backs off themselves and rotten the spades on the wires

Fogs will only come on when you have head lights on and igniton on
The switch does not turn them on directly, but turns them on IF headlights and ignition on

Not quite true, you only need to have the side lights on, fog lamps are an alternative to head lamps.

it's got nothing to do with fog or falling snow - it's visibility/distance
