hello all, here are the symptoms
300td1 110 low on power up hills,no black smoke just seems a bit lacking
I have changed fuel lift pump,new hoses,de cat front pipe.
turbo is working well we seem to have fuel to filter and no sedimentor at all please help me:mad:

Aye nae wurries;):D
It does make a bit o' difference (maybe not a lot, but it is noticable). Noticed ye didn't mentionthe EGR, might be worth a go at blankin' that off as well;)
 
ah yeah done that already im new to landrovers having always run jap and american 4x4,
only seems to go about 65mph is that normal?

Ah think that might be yer problem... Landies aren't really renowned fur there speed so try and not compare it to yer previous vehicles;)
Ye should get a bit more than 65 out of it.... but why the rush;):D
 
hahaha not worried about top end more need the grunt for going up hills with a trailer when i run expeditions to the highlands and europe:D

Aye but it's meant tae help with fuel economy as well .... which ye'll need fur those long treks;)
 
true enough,well ill get it all cleaned out on saturday if we aren't completely snowed in

Aye, just remember to make sure that whatever ye've cleaned it out with has well and truly dried out. Might be an idea to leave it over night and blow through with an air line or summit;)
