cheers for the instant abuse. Could you explain what Ive said to offend you? I merely offered to stop people being forced in spending stupid money on something unecessary. I would obviously ask for a contribution towards materials and time but nowhere near what a dealer is asking... Is that wrong? I certainly wasnt trying to offend anyone. What would you suggest to someone struggling with this problem that didnt have a bit of know how with tools and who didnt want to stump up £550?Who wants to give their money to dealers when we can give it to an honest caring bloke like you instead??
Cock.
cheers for the instant abuse. You're welcome Could you explain what Ive said to offend you? Post #1 I merely offered to stop people being forced in spending stupid money on something unecessary. by offering to sell them something else unnecessary I would obviously ask for a contribution towards materials and time but nowhere near what a dealer is asking... Is that wrong? YesI certainly wasnt trying to offend anyone. What would you suggest to someone struggling with this problem that didnt have a bit of know how with tools and who didnt want to stump up £550? Well its already gone up from £350.. Gotcha mate, thanks for putting me straight in an educated manor. Im not a business, I really thought there may be people that were totally lost that arent handy with tools that could use a hand. The tray is £350 + £200 labour = £550.. I would obviously chat to folk on here for nothing about what repair i did etc.. I only wanted to get the message out to less handy folk that there are cheaper solutions. I see i offended a few computer types and Im sorry you all got a bit waspy with me. Lets all breathe deeply. Bollocking accepted!they don't like spammers trying to flog their wears around here. If you'd offered free advice cool but trying to charge for services is not what this forum is about.
fair do's mate.. point taken. I wont post again, I wound up people and thats not what Im about. Sorry Landy community!! Please let me know how to withdraw my profile and Im gone. Be lucky.Luckily for everyone else using the forum - its been covered, so i'll share it again to save anyone having to fork out anything other than a few quid

I just stumbled on this as a newbie and I don't want to appear like a damsel in distress but I could use my leaky sunroof looking at. I had learned to live with sitting on plastic bags and getting dripped on occasionally but now the rear one must be leaky as well cos my kids got dripped on this morning.
Is this a job Stevros or any other could do whilst the disco was at my work place? I would be happy to contribute towards materials and time or travel expense within my tight budget.
Whoops! Just outside Swindon soz.
No lapdogs, No Rottweilers!
