bit of a daft question i know but does anyone know whether a 3.9v8i viscous will fit a range rover 2.5dse,the fitting looks the same.only asking has mines knackered and i have a good 3.9 spare.

Ok if you have found some way of screwing a L/H thread onto a R/H one. Do they not spin in opposite directions the V8 fan and the 2.5 fan?

Don't know to be honest but the V8 in the P38 spins in the opposite direction to the diesel. The V8 is R/H threaded and the diesel is L/H threaded. Also because they turn in opposing directions the blade are also angled oppositely.

to be honest wammers i had no idea the 2.5 viscous had a l/h thread,i know now cheers i,d have been out there all day with me spanner and big motherf**ker of a lump hammer trying to shift it.bo**ocks i thought i,d saved meself a few squids there,never mind.cheers anyway
