I have two holes in the rear quarter of the range rover above the rear parcel shelf but they have nothing in them and i dont see any wires, there is a mark in the roof lining showing something had been there around the holes. any one have a clue.

Yes, they are where the locking mechanisms sit to lock in your dog guard on mine. A plastic part with a tongue it slides onto a then a wing nut to lock in place.

I have had mine off in the past to re-insert the wing-nut holder after the metal piece separated from the plastic bit. All i needed was a good hammer!!

i had the same holes in mine and finaly tracked them down on flebay they are very rare but keep looking and you will find expect to pay about £30.

Hey, no problem, just bear in mind they colour-match well sort of, try breakers yards, much better shout than ebay, a used one would set you off fine, difficult to damage and cheap too.
