Hi all, was going to replace my rear discs today but to my surprise found the calliper mounting bolts were of the spline variety. Can anybody tell me what size they are? Snoops

13mm ring spanner will fit them

and the discs require a 14mm socket - 12 sided

Hi robint, thanks for your quick reply will try that tomorrow. They look pretty corroded & i was very surprised to find them fitted instead of a normal hex head bolt.

Again cheers bmp42 for your prompt reply, hopefully the calliper bolts will free off then i can finally replace the discs using your info ref. the brake disc bolts. Snoops

Get a decent 13mm 12point socket. pref 1/2" drive and a big bar as they can be a tad on the tight side when you try to undo them

Hi redhand, will get a new twelve point socket tomorrow & give it a try. Fingers crossed
