The new key is £143 from the dealer but comes with the blade already cut. Just needs programming which Guy Salmon did for free when I picked the fob up. It only took two days for it to arrive. You need to take in the V5 document and some ID to order. However if the BECM or locks have been changed without updating Landrover the replacement will not work. Rip off Ebay strikes again!!!!
 
I've only been a member here for a couple of months. I've only owned a Rangie for a couple of months.

Recently I noticed a spate of messages from senior members bemoaning that people wouldn't search the threads before asking questions and getting a little hot under the collar about the same topics coming round again and again. I thought that this was a bit unfair on us newbies who were stumbling around with our first ever Land Rovers.

So here we have somebody who has bought a fob on ebay and wonders how to get it to work. Well I've only got one comment to make to this
