I am sure this has been asked a 1000 times so I will ask again.
I searched 'insurance' and turned up every threat in LZ
I have someone in mind for insurance but wanted to find out if anyone of you beauty's could steer me in the direction or indeed steer others towards a cheap/reasonable insurance company that is happy to insure a modified vehicle, ie landy, non standard tyres and lift and soon engine change.

So, What company do you use for you Modded landy, have you declared EVERYTHING, how much did that affect your quote, who do you shop with?

My RRC was 445 and I told them everything I'd done, I have less points now

Adrian Flux were quite happy when I declared my modifications - wheels, lights, Disco engine. It certainly did affect my premium, but I'd rather not give them any reason to wriggle out of paying out!

NFU for me. Fully comp, All mods declared, Business cover for myself and the missus (including towing a brokendown vehicle). £350.

my insurance company want double my premium when i convert my disco td5 to coils but NFU told me they would insure me as a landrover no matter what i do to it im 37 with 7 years no claims and they quoted £512
