hi dont think it has anything to do with the fuel system, there can be up to 3 sensors under the inlet manifold 2 of them can be changed quickly and easily with only minimal loss of water 1 towards the front of the head is a bit of a swine as fuel pump is in the way so easiest way is to take inlet manifold off but you do lose water then
your right no water pipes going in or out of it my mistake been a while since i took mine offHow do you lose water removing the DSE inlet manifold?
cheers matey, the one connected to the inlet manifold is the intake air temp sensor, then theres the 2 behind the fip,i,m presuming the furthest from the front of the car is the coolant sensor but whats the other 1?fuel temp.
cheers wammers, obviously i could be ****ing up the wrong tree here, but the fact my car hesitates to start hot or cold and these sensors play a big part in fueling i,m hoping its one of these thats fooooked.cheersThe ECU temp sensor, usually the blue one, has a great affect on fuelling. It tells the ECU the engine temp, and along with inlet temp sensor controls the amount of fuel injected from cold right through to hot.
