nope cant be chipped

you can play with the fuel pump and increase boost slightly but the only major mod is to fit a large intercooler so you seriosly increase boost and fuel pump

but i dont think there really save much on fuel though

If you are wanting to improve mpg - it would be worth knowing what you are currently getting.


Manual gearbox TDi 300's don't have an engine ECU so there are no chips, or fish for that matter !!

search around on here,theres a full how to on tuning the 300tdi manuals including the turbo boost,intercooler and fuel pump mods,a few things can help you save on fuel, might just be mine but after fitting my snorkel and straight through exhaust mine seems to be better on fuel, also the 300tdi lump seems to be better on fuel between 2000 and 3000 rpm,sort of mid boost i guess.
