hi i have a p reg 4.6 hse and i have been getting the abs light the tc light and the light saying handbrake is on they flash on for a split second when i brake any ideas

change the acumulator (round ball thing on top of abs pump)had exactly the same problem on mine and cured it also several others on here remember to press the brake pedal 30 times i think to get rid of the pressure with ignition off some threads on here to confirm how to change though is really easy though

yeh i had same problem fitted new accumulator every thing now works fine
you will find that your abs wont work while you have this fault

bought mine from island 4x4 i dont think you will find it any cheaper also this is a genuine wabco part visit

easy to fit ,depressurise system unscrew of old screw on new.

i did change the brake fluid in mine and bleed system but this may not be nessasary as ive have heard others just changing accumulator

Yep .... Accumilator ...EVERY TIME!!!

I just changed the accumulator : dead simple : didn't have to re-bleed. ( didn't fix my prob tho' !!

then you need to read the fault codes ,otherwise its a stab in the dark

i have had it twice in six months , changed the abs pump with accumilator (secondhand!!)
the first time and all was well for 8 weeks , then lights on again . Changed the pump yet again and has cured the problem completely
