    IRD needed?

Would the CV joints cause a clonk on other areas of the drivetrain as it certainly sounds like its not coming from the wheel area?

    IRD needed?

Hi guys I am looking for a bit of advice I have a 2005 TD4 with 143,000 on the clock. I have a clonk in reverse and some times forward but only on lock either side. I have eliminated a few possibilities. It has (all recently) 3 new diff bearings, reconditioned VCU and propshaft UJ's so...

What tyres do you have on your freelander

Just stuck with the standard size, I did not want to mess around with the gearing for towing or normal driving. To Be honest if I were goinf up a size I would have chose BFG ATKO's. They don't do them in standard size.

What tyres do you have on your freelander

General Grabber AT2s put on 3000 miles ago - they feel great, a little noisier than the previous road tyres but no loss of grip and in mud and snow they are great. They were hard to find as they have been discontinued but managed to get some.

Do I need a new Rear Diff Front Bush?

Thanks for the advice so far guys, so I may as well just buy all three and do them all at once? I am happy with a set of spanners in my hand. As long as I support the diff and prop shaft whilst doing it is it just a matter of unbolting and bolting new ones in? No lining up or adjustment to worry...
