:eek: Hi all, 300tdi manual gearbox 1995. When i change into second it sounds like ive just lost all the teeth on the gears .3rd gear no noise just hard to get in 4th a slight grind when going in .1ST OK & 5TH OK.Gearbox not my strongest point so any help much appreciated .thanks dave

As for the manual YES .Replacing pipes is easily done but always check the manual for procedure or find a decent garage or some one local with a disco they might help and do a bit on the side too.good luck

Been running on 50/50 mix for a couple of days ,so far all ok .Went to indepentent LR parts dealer for fuel filter just in case ,so i asked for ther opinion .They have run 200 tdi on 50/50 just smoked a bit ,they no plenty with 300tdi who use it some 100% but a heater element that fits to fuel...

You could have a split in a turbo pipe ,same happened to me i could have pushed up hill faster,sometimes its not visable split so have a good look.BE CAREFULL ! turbo gets Hot.

Hi all any one using bio diesel from a pump (not home made stuff) to run 300 tdi if so any probs .many thanks .

Plastic trim around sunroof outer tends to lift ,doesnt take a lot for water to get in clear silicon all round shud do it worked on mine .(famous last words)
