The TD5 engine I have bought to replace my 300tdi is a manual, and want to fit the 300tdi zf4 auto to it, when I change everything, so just trying to get clear in my mind what I need to find. Cheers.

Quick update on this one. It turned out to be the switch. Took it apart, cleaned up the copper contacts put it back together again, and all is working again now. :)
