    sounds like a reasonable way to bugger things up to me.. loosen wheel studs a turn, jack it up an inch, support if you dont want it to fall, then a ruddy big lump of wood scaffold plank ect slid along the ground through from the other side to connect with the wheel, or rim

    be careful with stainless, not all stainless is the same. some stainless nuts ect wont handle the torque that a steel jobbie will, they have a habit of binding up on the threads, so if you do torque them up, they might be at the correct torque, but all bound up on damaged threads and not...

    ive got cooper discoverer atr on my jeep, nice chunky looking tread without being too gnarly for the road, and they have white writing on one side, and not on the other, your choice as to how tarty you want to look:rolleyes:
