I bought a new rear stub axle for my 1969 2A swb and the supplied part Britpart 599827 which was listed as 'up to 1980' but as the picture shows it's different. I'm awaiting a response from the supplier but thought I would ask here meantime. Any suggestions? Looks like a standard axle.

Bit of advice required. Stripped down rear hub to do inner oil seal and here's what the stub axle looks like. Should I replace stub axle? Wheel bearings are fine and correct me if I'm wrong but the badly pitted area on the stub does not come in contact with bearings?

Only took me nearly 2 years to post photos! Currently undergoing MOT work after getting a replacement engine. Has been in that lock up for 5 years now so looking forward to cleaning it up and getting it back on the road.
