    TD5 wipers not touching windscreen

Hi all,my windscreen wipers are not touching the windscreen properly seems like the springs are weak or the pivots have gone stiff. Is there an easy fix for this or does it mean getting some replacement wiper arms,or even fitting some differant arms from another model?

Disco 2 O/S rear outer pad wearing out

That does sound like the possible cause, maybe one of the sliders being bent i think i will chance these fist as a matter of cause before shelling out on a caliper as this seems to be ok ,as the piston is not sticking.

Disco 2 O/S rear outer pad wearing out

Hmm my money is on a dodgy caliper, maybe the piston is partily siezed and not releasing off enough. It cant be the sliders as these are free when built back together and the piston still pushed in and pads fitted, just thought it would wear both pads if the brake was binding. I'm also...

Disco 2 O/S rear outer pad wearing out

It moves freely on the sliders when assembled but soon as you apply the footbrake it goes tight where as there should be a little movement from the caliper on the slide pins when footbrake is not applied.

    TD5 whining from belt area

Right i have had a look and it seems to be the power steer pump which is noisy, but as this drives the water pump aswell, how do i know which to change,as ive been quoted £140 for a power steer pump and don't want to change this to find it was the water pump that was at fault! Dave
