TD4 is smoking like a nigga in prison, think turbo has gone. can i put a turbo off a 2002 td4 on my 55 plate. Supposed to be going to france in the heap of poo poo rammle next month. - the family didnt fancy around 750 miles in the series!

Whats ideal for cruising in my s3 lwb with overdrive? I just want to make sure as I seem to never have any diesel so was wandering if I was cruising to quickly? Im sure I'm not getting more than 12 mpg but I got around 18 mpg when I first had it!

Everytime I accelerate I get a sort of whirring/blowing sound and black smoke, my best friend said it could be exhaust gasket or something to do with exhaust. Is this right?
