You can do it without removing the seats but it is very fiddly. Easier to remove the light unit retaining plastic nuts and withdraw the unit and then change the bulb. It is a long time since I have done this but you can also drop the top seat mounts to let the seat linkages out of the way.

Check cooling system water levels when cold. If you are low on coolant then the temp gauge may fluctuate. Is your heater blowing out warm or cold air as if it starts to blow cold air when it is set to hot then you are seriously risking overheating the engine. Could just be a poor wiring...

What is the easiest way to replace the swivel seals? Thought of unboltong swivel from axle and withdrawing complete hub with halfshaft and fitting new seal over halfshaft. Can it be done this way? or do I have to strip the hub down?
