Hi I brought a TD5 alive one, and didn't have much of a problem fitting it, it is a little tight though, there are two sorts, you just need to make sure you get one for a disco with aircon

Check the connectors under the bonnet, sometimes they don't work, there might be power going there but will stop at the conector, happened to me

Ho why did I buy a disco.... Well it wasn't because there cheap to run... And I liked driving s111 and 90's when I was in the army, but I do like my comfort, hence the disco td5, I did have a jeep before the disco, but my wife much prefers the disco, so do the dogs, more room in the boot

Got my disco back tonight, everything is back to normal:) I fact I would say better than before. But it's early day yet and I haven't put my foot down to much yet, as for the injectors I did have the option of the old ones back so I could just put them back in and sell her as is, but I like her...

i would defo save them, you just never know when you might need them, all my troubles started when i had the seals and washed done because of diesel in the oil

:doh:thanks for depressing me even more, i should have looked first.....i'd like to think that they are post face lift, that way i won't feel so bad (mines pre face lift):confused: and the injectors were test by a reputable firm in norwich so have no reason to disbelive them.....and aparently...

:( Hi all, just had all my injectors on my TD5 Disco check on a test bed, and every one was kna@@@red:doh: every one was at lest 60% down on what it should have been, so i've had to bit the bullet, again, and shell out £900 for some recon ones, why ho why do i do it, if it was any other vehicle...

Hi disco Just thought I'd let you know, I got around to checking my sensors, there all ok:), so the code we had doesn't really mean anything:confused:, I'm thinking!!! Did you end up just changing the sensors? Or the hubs?:blabla:

Do you have diff guard fitted? I had the same, turns out the diff gaurd was hitting the diff!!!

Bugger, didn't check that:( I've already had 2 hubs done, hopefully mines ok, but ill check my out tomorrow, bummer about yours though, I would probably take a chance and go down the cheaper option, as it cost me over £300 to have one done, but at least you know it will be ok if you have the hub...

Check c0551 today, also for good measure I clean the plugs on the abs pump, cleared the fault and so far it's not come back, so looks like it may have been the earth plug, not done many miles yet so will know more next week if it comes back on, but so far so good:D Thanks again all:rolleyes:

I think I can safely say that I have fixed it:) looks like it was the setting on the injectors, it's been fine since I adjusted them, so I think that job done..... Thanks everyone for your comments;)
