Apologies, my teenage daughter was given my phone last week after destroying her 2nd Iphone in 3 months, im currently mobileless - if thats a word. Mad Hat amn, do you want a home phone number in case anything else comes up in Chorley area? Bloody typical......
Front seal leak - common, add a cap of brake fluid to PS fluid, swells seal and stops leak in some cases. If that doesnt help, you can replace the seal with a kit, but TBH, id just get a recon for the price of em.

Hi All
My Freelander now has to go to make room for a Disco for towing.
Its MOT ran out a couple of weeks ago and i have put it on SORN. About a week before the MOT was due the OS front wheel starting grinding and I dont have time to fix / mess with so Im selling it as spares...
19J was basically a turbo strap on to the 12J - BUT - it did have bores done as well to allow for the extra, so sticking a turbo on would be a short life sentence in my book. 19J turbo taken off fine -12J turbo added on - not good.
Lol - which is why i put a new one in every other month - like i said £5 a go - hardly breaks the bank, now my catch can now seems to catch the most and i've put my K&N back in. -)
From my experience, including the turbo running away, is that you would rather change a £5 air filter often, then have your turbo feeding on oil (if it breathes heavy enough the turbo will run away? - booooom?) The air filter was meant to take the majority of oil out and let the turbo burn away...
How did you get on with this? The brown colour (rusty) says to me Head Gasket not sat right, but may be if your water pump had corroded badly do the same? What were your findings?
