Hi all,

I noticed today that there's a small leak of ATF around the power steering pump- there's some on the body of the pump and some on the pulley.

Anyone know what's causing this? Can it be fixed or will I need a new pump?

Cheers

Pete

Clean it all off, and then try and see where its coming from , most probably its leak from hose . They usually fail after they start whining , or the pulley migrates forward , as the bearing fails.

Front seal leak - common, add a cap of brake fluid to PS fluid, swells seal and stops leak in some cases. If that doesnt help, you can replace the seal with a kit, but TBH, id just get a recon for the price of em.
