Just to add, I had a c section few months ago and was difficult to keep sitting up and laying back down, praying my friend can come and help rather take it to a garage in defeat :(

It's an auto box yeah, and I had an hour to get under and look but stupidly expected little plastic clips for bellypanel and obviously not that straight forward, I removed 4 bolts out of 6 before I had to do school run!

Because I thought it had to be level and raised, but looking into it I'm going to wait till tomorrow and get under it in the daylight and have a little look and see what happens :) I have a 5 month old baby I sometimes I can't get stuck into it

Thank you :) I've bought some fluid incase needs a top up (correct for the freelancer 1) but I'm not too sure how to top up but I guess I will find out more as soon as I get under the car. At the moment I'm having to plan drives where I know I don't have to reverse which isn't the safest :/

Apologies , "my mechanics I've met" always say this, I guess I'm just paranoid being a female and they see dollar signs walking through their doors ha. I was shocked to find he didn't even why to check fluid. He quoted me 2nd hand trans box for £440 then £100 for 're fluid and 3 or 4 hours...

Wanted to provide an update, got my boot working, changed 2 regulators on Windows and now they work although some wiring has to be traced as there's no output to one of the motors now, changed front speakers and 're connected wires so now have music :) all going well until I went into reverse...

It was working fine until it went in for mot, the guy said he cut my electric window wire to lift the Windows up and hold in place, my boot window works fine though. I have a key just got the boot but it doesn't unlock the latch, I've replaced all fuses too (I'm a beginner) oh and he took off...
