Hi All Investigated in daylight and the cover I could see is the shield for the Cruise control components which are all there and in place. I reseated the connections and took the car out for a test. Et Voila, cruise control now working perfectly.:) Thanks for the advice. Willow

Hi Again Just had a quick look and I have a plastic cover under the seat the CD changer in front of it. I can see a grey connector which I can't reach at the moment due to the rear seats being down as I have a large dog cage in place. Will update in dayligh when the cage is removed' Cheers willow

Yes it's an auto as the wife only drives them. Will look out for the pics. Willow
