Sorry for the thread resurrection but I've just done mine. All went well except the bar that connects the lock barrel to the lock mechanism snapped. Anyone know if you can buy just the bar and replace it or am I gonna either have to repair it or replace the whole lock?

Just after a bit of a point in the right direction, collected my disco 2 last night and all was well. It unlocked and locked fine. Went for some food on way home and when I pressed the unlock button the drivers door didn't work. So I used the key and got in. Drove home and the car locked fine...
