I have a disco 3 as well as my disco td5. The disco 3 recently had a gurgling behind the dash. Turned out to be engine oil in the brake servo coming from the vacuum hose. I only noticed the noise at start up. Just one thing to consider.

I have a 2004 Disco 2 Es Premium. It has the large tube type roof bars. I have no idea what they are for apat from holding on to when washing the roof... Can anyone shed some light please? Is there cross bars that fit on to the tubes? Thanks Padraig
