Picked up our 2003, 3 door freelander today & so far am well chuffed. Been exploring all the buttons working out what does what, anyway tried the rear window. This is either fully opened or completely closed. Is that normal or should they be able to inch up or inch down? Any advice would be...

Would I be right in assuming that the bars from the rear to the roof are there as a safety feature due to the FL having a removable top? If this is the case, as I've no intention of having the top off, would there be any reason why I can't remove these bars? Linda.

Hi all. I'm looking for a dog guard for a 3 door. Now I've seen many for positioning behind the rear seats but I want one to sit behind the drivers/passenger seats. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? Linda
