Thanks Hippo. The problem also appears to be temperature sensitive as it hasn't happens at all last week when the outside temperature barely rose above -1. Really don't want to have to put it in to a dealer and spend lots of money on it as I only bought it for the winter (that never happened!)...

Another update. The problem has evolved and the car now won't stay locked even when the ignition is off. This is driving me nuts!

Not sure, it might need the G-sensor under the seat (assuming it has one) to trigger as well before it fires the airbag. I'm going to test the switches but if I need to check the collision sensor, where would I find it?

It happens all the time while the car is running. If its the collision sensor, is this easily fixable? Thanks for replying.

Hi, new here and new to LR. I have a 55 plate Freelander td4 which has an annoying problem with the central locking in that when I'm driving all the doors unlock and continue to try unlocking periodically afterwards. If I press the lock button on the armrest it locks then unlocks...
