    Just a bit more info. The head has been reviewed by the shop down the road and pressure tested. All good and they scrape only a bit. So next Monday I will update you if my parcel clear the custom.

    good evening, another test today and I think I loosing coolant but I cannot find from where, I had to add about a liter of coolant today after driving 30´ and letting the car sit for 24h. I know the expansion tank need to be changed but what about the piping down there. See photos.

    Thanks, I do not think I will need a dile gage as I will be taking the head to a specialist shop who would do the trimming for me and preferably a compression test. Do you have an idea of the time needed for an amateur?

    yes when I stopped and removed, with caution, the cap of the expansion tank, there was quite a lot of pressure.
