as I am moving forward with the preparation of my 1989 defender for a 4500KM road trip, I have more and more electrical issues and I think I traced them to the fuse box, still containing glass fuses. when I push it works and then sometimes not :-(
as I would like to avoid to drive with one hand holding the fuses I though that I will change the fuse box for a new fuse box with new mini fuses. I got the fuse box (2 x 8 Fuses) but now I am looking at an easy way to remove the cables from the fold fuse box. See photo.
My questions are:
- did you already did that?
- how do you remove the cables from the old fuse box? except cutting them obviously as they might become too short
- do you have any other great ideas?
