    I used a orbital sander and paint stripper for the more difficult bits. Starchem Synstryp is brilliant paint stripper, you have to be really careful with it though. I then spray etch primed and hand rollered some paint from Paddocks. It didn't come out too bad.

    I always use the Carlube Daytona 20w50 oil from B&Q. Its £10.98 for 4.5 L. Exactly the same stuff is £18 from GSF. If you know someone with a B&Q OAP card you can get 10% off too. Its so cheap I change it regularly and not had a problem.

    If you search butyl sealant tape on ebay, you can buy it by the roll. I have used it on a couple of my windsreens and it worked well.

    couple of little questions.

    Hi For the release bearing you need the staple which is part number 576203, lots of places sell it like LRdirect or Craddocks for pennies. I have found LRdirect are normally a bit better for postage as they don't have a flat rate, so small items are normally a bit cheaper on postage.
