Thanks for the replies, maybe i will just rip out the annoying dash bleeper for a start. I have read somewhere that you can have the BeCM set to Australian mode which removes the immobiliser... Anyone in Cornwall got a nanocom or similar?

After my first foray into proper off roading in my sacrificial P38, which proved it to be a very capable off roader, I am now looking to improve its ability. One of the first jobs is to move the BeCM and EAS unit, yes I am sticking to Air springs for now. So my question is this, how hackable is...

Thought I'd see what the bretheren say.. Basically i have been greedy :) and purchased two 4.6V8 P38's. One has an MoT but some niggly faults, whilst the other hasnt got an MoT but only failed on bulbs, emissions(New spark plugs and a quick blast) rusty brake pipe and an imbalance in the brakes...

Ok I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do.. I have a very clean 300Tdi Disco auto that is a jap import, it's a very nice truck but i find it a bit slow and noisy. Now I can either a. buy a nice P38 I have an eye on and sell the disco, maybe buy a shed for mud playing :) or keep the disco use...

Just trawling through some old car pics and came across one of my old v8 disco, the one used as my avatar. I sold it to a nice lady in Wadebridge, Cornwall but have lost her details as I may want to buy it back from her as a weekend toy.. Anybody seen it? the reg is L416FBU. Cheers
