Vibrating steering wheel, is it a wheel balance problem?

Had mine knobblies balanced and still they vibrated at about 60 mph...only when I decided on a new set of road tread tyres and hey presto, no more steering wheel shaking.

Land Rover 90 rear disc replacement

I own a 1989 90, which has in the past been fitted with rear discs. I recently serviced the rear calipers and found them a tad to shabby etc ( new pads won't be able to be fitted because of rusted pistons etc ). So I will be nipping over to LR in Liverpool to buy new calipers/pads...

Just a quicky re putting 21V filament bulbs in side lights

Probably a poor aftermarket holder but correct 10v ( I think but car at friends at the moment ! ) has to be tapped as it ocassionally doesn't come on. Hard feel to brakes on Defender 90

When I brake hard, the pads grip well ( they are new ) but then the brakes feel hard to the touch and braking goes off as if pads are made of wood ! ( doesn't seem to do it all the time though ). When I fitted the new Ferodo pads, all the caliper pistons pushed back in ( and I have checked...
