  • Never heard of that mod, but it would either have been a small plug in box in the loom to the FIP, or it would have been a mod to the engine ECU. If the latter it may have been destroyed removing it. If removing it cured the problem why do you want it back?
Better to just fit a PSI Powerbox which is well proven.

Datatek, you seem to be the knowledge around this site, I have a 2.5 dhse the problem is its not got much power, the guy I bought it off Had a BHP mod on the car. How ever on previous occasions when the car lost power when driving, RangeRover said it was the BHP mod. My concern is They have taken it out and not returned it to me. Would you know were it would be in the engine and what it looks like. Also would that mod do any damage to the engine.

    Regards
Standard 2 tonne jack under the outer end of the axle does the job fine. No special kit needed.
Your other question about loss of power, is it petrol or diesel? I know nothing about petrol P38's.
